Ashton Kutcher says he doesn't see relationship failure as "inevitable" in a pre-split interview.

Ashton's wife, Demi Moore, 49, announced their divorce yesterday. The news came following allegations Ashton was unfaithful to her on their sixth wedding anniversary in September.

Men and Women's Health magazines have recently released their December issue, in which they have an interview with the Two and a Half Men Star before the announcement of his marriage split.

However, it doesn't seem that the 33-year-old thought his romance with Demi would come to an end.

"I'm relatively scared of failure," he confessed. "But I just don't see it as something that's inevitable."

He also explained about the importance of working on a relationship in the publication.

The Hollywood actor was adamant that problems could be sorted as long as they were worked through.

"I think it's all about working on the relationship and making it betterwhen it's good," he explained.

"Don't wait for a problem to work on things. The goal is not to get into a relationship; the goal is to be in a relationship."

The famously outspoken star also talked about his ideal woman. He revealed that his partner must be flexible and adapt to his needs.

"I could never be with a woman who felt like she needed to change me," he said.
