(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ashton Kutcher always has a breath mint before kissing scenes.

The star has worked with some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, including Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba and Natalie Portman.

His latest big screen outing sees him paired with Glee actress Lea Michele for New Year's Eve.

Ashton insists on having fresh breath before he locks lips with a co-star.

"I also always have a mint before every screen kiss," he told the December edition of UK magazine Glamour.

Ashton wasn't the only star who wanted a minty mouth for New Year's Eve.

Katherine Heigl recently revealed she "popped" a lot of breath mints as she was so nervous before her kissing scene with Jon Bon Jovi.

Ashton had a great time on the movie set with Lea.

Although he hadn't worked with her before, the pair were expected to get up close and personal pretty quickly.

"I've seen Lea in Glee but met her for the first time on the set," he explained. "Minutes later we shot the kissing scene in front on a hundred people."

New Year's Eve also stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Halle Berry, Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jessica Biel and Sofia Vergara.
