(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ashton Kutcher has stripped off to promote his new role in Two and a Half Men.

The 33-year-old actor has stepped into the role left vacant after Charlie Sheen was fired back in March from the hit show.

The star, who is married to Demi Moore, will be playing a totally different character though.

In the marketing images, Ashton is seen semi-nude with his co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones as they hold up a poster which bears the words, "All will be revealed... 09.19.11".

Their bare chests and legs are visible peeping out from behind the large sign.

The new season will premiere in the US this September and fans are eagerly anticipating if the show will work without Charlie, who was reportedly being paid $2 million an episode.

"Ashton is an extraordinary talented guy, and his presence will be an asset to our show," Jon said at the time of the actor being hired.

Charlie was less generous and implied that the show would be a failure without him. (C) Cover Media
