B-Town bids farewell to Dev Anand

On the Sunday morning, the entire Hindi film Industry was grief striken due to the sad news of sudden demise of Bollywood’s evergreen romantic hero Dev Anand. The veteran star succumbed to a cardiac arrest in London, where he had gone for medical checkup... The 88-year old veteran actor was known for a big heart and not losing hope. He continued making films till his last breath and in his lifetime introduced many new comers in the industry including Zeenat Aman.

Aamir Khan said that Dev Saab’s death is a sad loss to Indian cinema. His passion for film making will definitely be missed. He continued to say that Dev Saab possessed unmatched creative energy and was a cinematic icon. The entire B-Town including Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Karan Johar, Sonam and Anil Kapoor expressed their condolences through micro blogging site Twitter.
