It was a grand function when a new film of Balakrishna was launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. To be directed by Ravi Kumar Chaveli, the movie is produced by Ramesh Puppala on his Yellow Flowers Banner. R R Moviemakers will present it.

There are two heroines opposite Balayya in this flick and they are Parvathi Melton and Isha Chawla of Premakavali and Pularangadu fame.

Chakri who gave hit music for Balakrishna`s Simha is scoring the music for this yet to be titled film too. Dasari Narayana Rao sounded the clapboard while "Rebel" star` Krishnam Raju switched the camera on for the first shot filmed on Balakrishna, Parvathi Melton and Isha Chawla.

Talking about the film, Balakrishna said, 'I was very impressed with the vision of director Ravi Kumar when he narrated the story. It is based on a powerful subject and will turn out to be an intense action entertainer.'
