Baldwins love to debate at Christmas

21st December 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Stephen Baldwin is looking forward to some heated debates with his siblings this Christmas.

The 44-year-old actor comes from a family of acting stars, with his brothers William, 47, and Alec, 52, famously sharing different political views to him.

Stephen is known for his conservative opinions, whereas the rest of his family are liberals, so hes preparing to enjoy some controversial debates during the Baldwin Christmas day lunch.

Stephen told the New York Post that conversations "get a little spicy now and again", although he claims the brothers never get too out of hand because their late father Alexander who passed away in 1983 instilled a great sense of discipline in his sons.

"We were raised with a dad who would smack you in the forehead with salad tongs if you got too out of line," he laughed.

Stephen loves nothing more than an impassioned debate though, and admits there have been plenty over the years. The brothers regularly clash on the policies of former US president George W. Bush and current American leader President Barack Obama.

"But there has been some fun conversations in the two Bush presidencies and now Obama. There's been some pretty fun conversations," he smiled. (C) Cover Media
