18th August 2016

Riteish Deshmukh, who will be next seen in the upcoming film 'Banjo' seeked a lot of attention in the trailer of the film. Popularly called as 'Banjo Ki Duniya Ka Bachchan', Riteish plays the character of a slum-dweller Banjo player with sky-high dreams. As Ganesh Chaturthi is just a few days away, the makers of the film have released the first song from the film titled 'Bappa.'

The song features Riteish in his funky rockstar avatar performing his Banjo while a Ganesh procession is passing by from the busy streets. He is lively, energetic and seems to be enjoying the song to the core. The innovative idea of painting the face of lord Ganesh on his hand steals our attention and the makers need to be appreciated for it. This colourful song is composed by Vishal-Shekhar with Vishal Dadlani even crooning behind the mic. Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics of the song.

National Award winning Marathi director Ravi Jadhav is marking his debut in Bollywood with this film. The film also stars Nargis Fakhri in the lead. Produced by Eros International in association with Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment, the film is slated to release on September 23, 2016.
