Making a film with two unconventional protagonists as leads, that will not only be encouraging, as well as entertaining to be commercially viable is not an easy task. But the team of 'Barfi' has just managed to achieve all of that in one go.

The recently released film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra as disabled characters, opened up to positive critical acclaim from all ends. But often critically acclaimed films do not click with audiences as they crave for pure entertainment, 'Barfi' however, has the perfect combination. 

After impressing the critics, the film has also got a humongous box office opening (Read Review). From the box office reports of the opening day, the film we hear had around 90 to 100% occupancy for the morning shows in Mumbai and other cities too.

The advance booking for the weekend shows are in full swing and it has already got a flying start at business. 

Though the film is expected to do exceptionally good business in multiplexes, it has also got good opening in the interiors of India.
