Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre who is diagnosed with cancer is fighting it up with a brightest of the smile on her face. The 43-year old is accompanied by her family and close friends who are around her and on the occasion of friendship day, she shared a pic of her smiling in her bald look after Chemotherapy sessions in the US proving all of us she is a born fighter after all.

The 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' actress shared a moment along with her friends Gayatri and Suzzanne Khan. And penned some words coming straight away from her heart. Sonali was seen in the bald look sporting shades with dark blue jeans and a long t-shirt. While at the end of her long message she gave picture credits to Hrithik Roshan as well.

Her Instagram post captioned, ''This is me. And in this moment, I am really happy. People give me strange looks when I say that now, but it's true and I'll tell you why. I am now paying attention to every moment, looking for every opportunity to find joy and #SwitchOnTheSunshine. Yes, there are moments of pain and low energy, but I am doing what I like, spending time with people I love, and feeling very loved and happy. I am extremely grateful to my friends, my pillars of strength, who at a moment's notice, arrived to be with me and help me through this. In between their busy schedules they find time to visit, call, message, FaceTime... basically never leaving a moment for me to feel alone."
