(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ben Affleck honours all "incredible, spectacular" mothers.

The Hollywood actor is married to Jennifer Garner and the couple have three children together Violet, 6, Seraphina, 3, and Samuel, three months.

Ben took the time on Friday, before Mother's Day is observed this weekend in the US on Sunday, to post a video on his Facebook thanking all the matriarchs in his life for their love and support.

"I just want to say Happy Mother's Day to all the mums in my life," Ben shared. "My mum, Chris, and my amazing wife, Jennifer, who is an incredible, spectacular, world-class mum, and I want to thank her."

The actor founded charity the Eastern Congo Initiative in 2010 and has since visited the war torn region eight times.

Ben also wants to acknowledge women in the African country for their triumphs.

"I want to say thank you to all the mums I've met in the Democratic Republic of Congo who are on this video," he said. "I urge you to share it to celebrate all the mums in the world working at the very hardest job there is every single day." (C) Cover Media
