(Cover) - EN Fashion - Beth Ditto says she wouldnt have her own plus-size clothing line without the help of Kate Moss.

Beth shot to fame as the curvaceous frontwoman of American rock band The Gossip, and boasts her own clothing line with the British plus-size retailer Evans.

The singer says the discussions for the collection came about after supermodel Kate introduced her to British retail mogul Sir Philip Green, owner of Evans and Topshop, where Kate has her own range of clothes.

She is the reason I have the line at Evans. Because she had the line at Topshop and she was trying to get Philip Green involved. And when I told her about Evans she was like, Finally, like two years later, Beth revealed in the British edition of Marie Claire magazine. I do think shes helped me a lot by being a really cool bada*s person.

Beth admits she isnt particularly close to Kate, although she admires her healthy attitude to body image. As one of the worlds most successful models, Kates slender frame has been the subject of scrutiny for years, but the British beauty doesnt let criticism affect her.

If anyone understands what its like to be a woman whos subjected to body politics, its a f**king model, said Beth.

She likes what she likes and she likes who she likes and she just happens to be really gorgeous and good at what she does.

The singer regrets that she doesnt spend much time with Kate because they dont really mix in the same cliques.
