(Cover) - EN Fashion - Selena Gomez says her top tip for improving an outfit is to add a cool bag.

The teen star is best known for her role as Alex Russo in the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place, although she has recently emerged as one of Americas top style icons.

Selena admits whenever she doesnt feel good in an outfit, she selects a glamorous handbag from her collection and it instantly refreshes her look.

The good thing about being a girl is that you can wear bags. So if youre in an outfit thats not really put together well, all you have to do is add a bag and it makes it better, she told Top of the Pops magazine.

For Selena, looking beautiful is all about accessorising, so she says she prefers to focus her attention on shoes, handbags and jewellery.

To glam up, I focus on the small things, she revealed.

The 18-year-old actress/singer says that although she is more elegant than her character Alex in Wizards of Waverly Place, they do actually share a similar style.
