The Tamil Nadu distribution rights of Ajith Kumar's forthcoming film Billa 2, helmed by Chakri Toleti, have been sold out by In Entertainment to V Ravichandran of Aascar Films for a whopping price.

According to sources, "Ravichandran bagged the theatrical rights of the much expected film for Rs 24 crore. It is indeed a record when compared to the earlier movies of Ajith."

'He is planning to promote the flick in an aggressive way,' sources add.

Sunir Kheterpal, who heads In Entertainment, confirms the development saying, 'Aascar V Ravichandran has acquired the TN theatrical rights.’

The film has Parvathy Omanakuttan as the leading lady opposite Ajith in the movie. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music and an audio launch is being planned on May 1 which is also the birthday of Ajith.
