Bioscopewala seems a thrilling version of Tagore's short story

One of the well-known writing work of Rabindranath Tagore titled 'Kabuliwala' is finally been made into a feature film and the trailer has thoroughly left us intrigued. The film is titled 'Bioscopewala' and stars Danny Denzongpa in the lead role. The trailer introduces Geetanjali Thapa as Minnie Basu who remember losing her father in a plane crash and his good old friend who use to run footage in his bioscope device.

Minnie and her father's old friend Bioscopewala's chemistry is not less than a father-daughter chemistry and now she is on the mission to find the truth from the deep down buried past. A glimpse of her childhood is showcased with the same man entering her present, where she speaks to herself how can she forget the man who taught her to tell stories.

While this quest of finding the truth leads us to Afghanistan with a lot of secrets to unwind. Distributed by Fox Star Studios in association with Star India, Bioscopewala is bankrolled by Sunil Doshi and helmed by Deb Medhekar.

The film also features Tisca Chopra and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles. Bioscopewala is slated to release on May 25, 2018.
