Blake Lively: Film isn't sensational

28th September 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Blake Lively is glad the film industry was never "sensationalised" for her.

The actress is one of Hollywood's brightest stars, appearing in hit TV series Gossip Girls and a string of box office hits.

Blake doesn't care for a life in the spotlight though.

"Hollywood is only as much of your life as you let it be. It's your work. For me I grew up with all of my siblings in this industry and it was never sensationalised," she told the UK edition of OK! magazine.

"It was just what they do, but they left it when they came home and didn't make it a lifestyle. I have a pretty normal, nice lifestyle otherwise."

Blake has previously discussed playing Guitar Hero and cooking for friends in the past. She prefers this modest lifestyle.

"I don't have as much time for Guitar Hero these days. I still cook all the time, but I try to avoid being in the city as much as possible," she said. "I think people expect that they're going to build their career and then their real life will always be there. But it's exactly the opposite, you build your real life, because who knows when or where you career will be." (C) Cover Media
