(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio split because she was not ready to settle down, it is being reported.

The Hollywood couple announced they had ended their five-month romance yesterday.

Us Weekly are claiming that they have split up because the Gossip Girl star, 24, thinks she is too young to be starting a family which is apparently what the Titanic actor, 36, wants.

"Blake wasn't ready to move to the next level," an insider told the publication.

"It was just too much, too quickly. Blake wasn't ready to settle down."

Another source added that Leonardo is "more mature and they're not in the same place right now."

The couple met last November and travelled around the world together when they began dating ini May.

Leonardo is apparently ready to finally become a husband and begin the next phase of his life.

"He's looking for someone to eventually start a family with That's not where she's at. She's only 24!" the source said.

Leo has dated his share of beauties including Bar Refaeli who he was with for five years before breaking up just weeks before he got together with Blake.

The television star dated her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley for three years before that came to an end in October 2010. She is reportedly now grown close to her Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds.

Leonardo is said to have moved on too and has set his sights on former Australia's Next Top Model contestant Alyce Crawford, 21.

The pair apparently met at nightclub Beach Haus Down Under and they have been getting close with each other over the past two weeks, it is being reported.

"He texts her when he wants to see her and they hook up a few times a week," Australian newspaper, The Herald stated.

"They've mostly been meeting up during the week. He does other things on weekends. She's been to The Star (the hotel where Leonardo is staying) to visit, but he is too smart to be seen with her in public." (C) Cover Media
