30th November 2018

The teaser of 'URI: The surgical strike' was officially out a few months back and the audiences loved it and many expressed their viewpoints. The film is based on the surgical strikes those were conducted by the Indian Army in September 2016, after 19 of their men were killed by four heavily armed militants at URI base camp in Kashmir in an early morning attack.

Claimed to be the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades, the special forces of the Indian Army carried out surgical strikes on the terror launch pads across the Line of Control (LOC) in retaliation of the coward attack. The makers recently dropped a video revealed the 5th Dec as trailer release date. Click here to watch the video.

In the video, we hear Paresh Rawal's voiceover as PM Narendra Modi who says "Yeh Naya Hindustan Hai, yeh Hindustan ghar mein ghusega bhi aur marega bhi" and with smoke all over enters Vicky Kaushal as army man with a rifle in his hand along with the troops.

The film is bankrolled by RSVP movies and directed by Aditya Dhar, film is scheduled for release on January 11, 2019, and will have Yami Gautam as the lead female. In the teaser, we witnessed the exact replica of the former Defence Minister Manohar Parikar and the current Chief of Army General Bipin Rawat.
