(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Brad Pitt has reportedly hired SAS protection for his property in the South of France.

The Hollywood star and his partner Angelina Jolie have spent 150,000 on a state-of-the art security system for their estate in France.

According to sources, the pair's new security detail comes with former elite soldiers.

Brad, 47, and 36-year-old Angelina became concerned about their family's welfare after hearing that organised crime gangs from Italy and Russia are targeting rich foreigners' homes in the area.

The couple raise six young children together - Maddox, ten, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne and didn't want to take any chances when it came to their brood.

"Brad has hired a crack team of ex-SAS guys to protect them and they watch over the property like hawks around the clock," a source told British newspaper The Sun.

The security system is very advanced. The couple will be able to see what is happening at all times because the cameras are hooked up to TV screens that have movement sensors.

"The systems also works via wi-fi, so it can't be disarmed at any point. There's even fingerprint recognition to go from certain parts of the house to the next," the source added.
