(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears is not a "diva" according to the director of her new music promo.

Chris Marrs Piliero, who directed Britney in the video for her new single I Wanna Go, called the pop princess "really cool" and "super professional". The video sees Britney taking revenge against the paparazzi and also stars Weeds actor Guillermo Diaz.

"I don't think anyone has the right to be a diva, but there are some artists out there, they've been in the game long enough [that] if any one of those artists ... might have the permission to be a diva, she definitely has earned it and she wasn't whatsoever," Chris told the MTV Buzzworthy blog.

Britney, who last week kicked off her Femme Fatale tour, has been working hard to prove that she has come a long way since her breakdown in 2008 when she was taped shaving her hair. Her video director Chris cannot get over how well mannered she is.

"She's super polite; she's ridiculously polite. She's soft-spoken," he said. "She's really cute. The way she talks and interacts, you want to hug her. She was super professional, super game..... It was awesome working with her. She's a rad chick."

One of the funniest scenes in the video features Guillermo and Britney driving a convertible in the desert. At one point Guillermo surprises the singer by pouring milk on himself.

Chris revealed that Britney was not feigning her shock. "We let the cameras roll, and the reaction that you see from Britney is definitely a genuine reaction," he said. "When I was going through the footage, I loved the way that she responded. It's so genuine and so funny. It's perfect [and] it definitely is a perfect description of how we all felt about that scene." (C) Cover Media
