(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears' next marriage will be incomparable to her previous two a source has revealed.

The singer announced her engagement to former agent Jason Trawick over the weekend.

According to E! a close friend of the family has said the star's latest relationship is set to last.

"You can't even compare the chances for this marriage to her others," the source explained

"Britney is in such a better place than she was before. Her outlook between then and now is night and day. So she's better off right there."

This will be Britney's third marriage.

The 30-year-old has two boys from her three-year marriage to Kevin Federline. She also had her 55-hour union to childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander annulled in 2004 after the pair wed in Las Vegas.

The source admitted that Britney's previous difficulties with relationships stemmed from her troubled past with her father.

"As to Jason? Britney's actually gotten closer to her father the past couple of years," the source divulged."And I think that says a lot on how well it's going to last. She's cool with men. " (C) Cover Media
