Britney Spears ready for tour

8th April 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears will definitely tour this summer.

There have been reports the pop singer was considering postponing her Femme Fatale series of shows, which is due to kick off in North America in June. It was claimed she didnt feel fully prepared and had decided against taking to the stage until she knew she could give the best performance possible.

Her manager Larry Rudolph has now slammed the reports, insisting they couldnt be further from the truth.

[He] exclusively told us that - contrary to speculation otherwise - the Spears tour is 100% a go for this summer! reports Perez Hilton.

The manager added that an announcement about Britneys opening act will be made at some point today. Enrique Iglesias had been lined up but decided against appearing, and there is speculation Nicki Minaj might take his place.

Meanwhile, the promo for Britneys new single Till The World Ends has sparked furious discussion online, with some of her fans adamant she does not complete all the dance moves in it.

Britney suffered a public meltdown in 2008 which saw her hospitalised, and lose control of her personal and professional affairs. Since then she has sometimes struggled to learn frenetic dance moves, leading to allegations she uses body doubles in her videos.

Some of her fans have posted their doubts online, with some even making the outrageous claim she has used a man to stand in for her.

I usually support and back Britney up for everything but this kinda bugs me... why for two or three seconds? fan TheOriginalDollz wrote.

"Was that part maybe a huge dance thing hard on the knee? I know Brit has knee issues maybe that is why.

Britneys representatives have denied the allegations, insisting there is no truth in them whatsoever.

These accusations could not be further from the truth, her spokesperson said. "Britney worked extremely hard on this video and rehearsed for six weeks prior to shoot." (C) Cover Media
