Brooke Mueller has completed a "successful" stint in rehab andleft the treatment centre yesterday.
Charlie Sheen's ex-wife spent 12 weeks in the famous Cirque Lodge facility in Sundance, Utah, to battler her drug and alcohol addiction.
A spokesperson for the actress said the mother-of-two has returned to Los Angeles where she will undergo an intensive outpatient regime to stay substance-free.
"After successfully completing an intensive three-month drug and alcohol treatment program, Brooke returned to Los Angeles yesterday and has immediately begun an aggressive outpatient program that includes a sober companion. Brooke is feeling better than ever before, and is committed to continuing treatment for as long as necessary to maintain her total and complete sobriety," her representative told RadarOnline.com.
Brooke was arrested in Aspen, Colorado, on December 2 and charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanour assault.
She initially refused help, but later changed her mind and entered a rehab facility to help her overcome her dependencies.
The 34-year-old is said to be feeling positive about the future and her main goal is to be there for her twin sons Bob and Max.
"Brooke finally recognised that she needed to surrender to the disease, and admit she was powerless to it. She needed long term residential treatment and she got it. Brooke is very hopeful for her future, and wants to focus on her recovery and sobriety and being the best mom she can be to her twin toddler sons," an insider said.
Brooke was married to Charlie Sheen from 2008 until 2011.
