'Camera instead of sickles' – K.V. Anand
4th January 2011
The producers of 'KO' have started taking a big leap on promotional campaigns. Especially K.V. Anand is taking special care on this project as he wants to make the people clear about the film's concept because the protagonist's role of 'Photo Journalist' is something new to Tamil Cinema. Although there have been many journalist roles in yesteryear Tamil movies, K.V. Anand assures that 'KO' will be like chalk and cheese.
The filmmaker admits that he had nearly more than a month in Bengaloru to gain the working style of newspaper photo journalists. 'Naturally, I worked as freelance photo journalist for various magazines much before getting into showbiz, but the nature of magazines differ completely from newspapers. So much prior to kick-starting the script work, we spent more time with the photo editors in Bengaloru.”
The usage of camera will be more significant as the director utters that he has given the instrument instead of sickles (Aruva) for the hero.
