While her Bollywood contemporaries Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mallika Sherawat may have failed to impress at the Cannes red carpet, actress Ameesha Patel is leaving no stone unturned to put her best foot forward at the event.

The actress is taking up the challenge head-on and she is sweating it out at the gym to get the perfect curves for her red carpet look. Besides, Ameesha has opted for Bollywood's ultimate designer Manish Malhotra to get the perfect attire for the event.

Manish Malhotra dropped a hint that the actress' attire will have a lot of Kashmiri work on it and he has picked shades of black and white to complement Ameesha's skin. Manish further expressed that when designing the outfit, he is also keeping in mind the fact that Ameesha's look is apt for the International platform.

Ameesha is sure on a different high as 'Shortcut Romeo' is her first movie to make it to Cannes in her 13-year long career. Well as they say, there is no 'Shortcut' to success, right?
