(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Carey Mulligan says she hates finishing movies as she often misses her co-stars.
The 25-year-olds latest big screen outing is Never Let Me Go, which also features Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield. The British actress admits she was so despondent when she had finished her scenes that she remained on the set.
I hate finishing jobs. I always get so sad and really miss the crew. They had filmed all my, Keira and Andrews stuff first, then moved on to the scenes with the younger actors playing us as children. So Andrew and I stayed on and watched filming every day. Pretending we still had a job. Seriously! We were a bit like, If you want us to act at any point, we can do some more, she told InStyle magazine.
Her reluctance to leave the set can be traced back to the close relationship that existed between the three stars. With tales of late night drinking and intense board games fresh in the memory, Carey admits they often struggled to maintain their professional demeanour when around each other.
Ill admit, there were some days where youd be like, Im going to be in this corner, youre going to be in that corner and were both listening to our iPods and well be terribly serious actors for a second. Then there were days when there was a lot of levity and you did have to laugh and joke around, she revealed. When the three of us were together, we did mess around quite a lot. (C) Cover Media
