(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Carly Rae Jepsen feels like a "lucky duck" to be performing at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) next month.
The annual event will be held at Frankfurt Festhalle in Germany on November 11 and hosted by Heidi Klum.
The Canadian singer is nominated in three categories - including Best Song - and has now confirmed she will be taking to the stage at the awards show.
"This will be my first time at the MTV EMA, and I am beyond thrilled - feeling like a lucky duck for the nominations and the chance to perform," she said in a statement for MTV.
"Now the only concern is what to wear?! Let the party begin, Frankfurt."
The 26-year-old burst onto the scene with her catchy hit Call Me Maybe and a little help from her famous friend Justin Bieber.
Other newly confirmed artists performing at the event are pop act fun. and British artist Rita Ora.
"It's so incredible that we'll be playing at the MTV EMA, when not that long ago not many people knew who we were in Europe! It just feels like that dream most people don't get to experience," fun. gushed.
"I'm so excited to be part of the 2012 MTV EMA! And to be nominated is incredible - let's have some fun this year!" Rita added.
Last week it was announced No Doubt, Muse and Taylor Swift will be performing. (C) Cover Media
