The Sex and the City actress will star in and co-produce a Canadian adaptation of 2005 British comedy series Sensitive Skin, according to Deadline.com.
The series will follow Kim's character as she goes through a mid-life crisis.
Canada's Movie Central and The Movie Network have reportedly ordered six episodes of the remake.
Kim will co-star with Canadian actor and filmmaker Don McKellar. He will also direct all six episodes.
Producers, including Kim, Don, writer Bob Martin, Henry Normal and original series creator Hugo Blick, are reportedly looking to air the show on US network HBO.
Kim was nominated for an Emmy for her role as maneater Samantha Jones on the network's 1990s hit series Sex and the City.
Sensitive Skin, starring Joanna Lumley, first aired in the UK in 2005.
The British comedy enjoyed a successful two-season run before it was cancelled in 2007. (C) Cover Media
