December 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): American police procedural/drama Blue Bloods, which is now aired on Fridays, will be shifted to a 10 pm Wednesday slot by CBS in January. However, this is a temporary shift for four weeks as the channel is trying to promote the show at Wednesday slot.
The series, which premiered on 24th September, 2010, has been filmed in New York City. Currently, the show runs successfully on Fridays at 10/9c. The show was named to be one of the five best new shows in 2010.
On Fridays, Blue Bloods is now enjoying an average of over 12 million viewers. On January 19, the Wednesday try out episode will be aired. Blue Blood will replace The Defenders, which will be shifted to 8pm slot of Fridays from February 4.
As soon as Blue Bloods finishes its Wednesday journey, the Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior will take up the time slot.
The viewers will also see change in the time slot of Rules of Engagement, which will be shifted to 8:30 pm slot of Thursday from Monday. It will be effective from February 24 when My Dad Says concludes. Audiences can expect another new romantic comedy show Mad Love, which will take place at 8:30 pm slot from February 21.
It seems the channel is in the reshuffling mood in the New Year!
