Leggy lass Deepika Padukone's next 'Chhapaak' is high on content and high on curiosity ever since the director Meghna Gulzar made it official. Based on the undying spirit of a real life acid attack survivor, Laxmi Aggarwal, now freezes a release date. 

Sharing the first look of Dippy from the flick, makers as well as the actress announced the release date on their respective social media handles too. Gazing at the first look, one can't wait but to compliment make up artist and prosthestics professionals for their spot on work. Deepika's team has managed to achieve the look, where the actress has an uncanny resemblance with Laxmi. It has Dippy standing next to the mirror, smiling.

The actress will play the role of Malti showcasing the journey of courage and hope; it also sees the actress stepping into film production aspect with her production banner 'KA' Entertainment in collaboration with Fox Star Studios and Mriga Films.

'Chhapaak' is set to release on January 10, 2020, the movie went on floors in March 2019.
