Cee Lo Green: Ill sing on Gwyneths album

18th April 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cee Lo Green would love to work with Gwyneth Paltrow if she releases an album, saying hed be returning the favour.

The Hollywood actress has surprised many with her vocal talents over the last few months, famously performing Cee Los hit Forget You on American television series Glee. She also took to the stage as this years Grammy Awards with the singer, and her Glee character Holly Holliday has gone down so well with viewers shes featured in a string of episodes.

Gwyneth is thought to be in talks with several record companies about bringing out an album at the moment and Cee Lo hopes the speculation is true.

[Gwyneth] did me such a great favour by coming along and joining in with me for the Grammys that if she asked me to do something or if this rumour of her having a record deal is true and she reaches out to me, of course [I would work with her], he told ETOnline.

Cee Lo is taking part in new television programme The Voice, alongside Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine. Contestants will try out for the show based solely on their voice, with none of the mentors able to see what the hopefuls look like as they sing. Cee Lo thinks the shows concept is important as too much emphasis is put on appearance, rather than talent, in other singing competitions.

We don't see them. We don't know them. We know nothing about these people. All that we can go off of is the way that they make us feel, he explained.

You have to have your priorities in a different order. It should be vice versa. Quality should be your first concern.

The Voice hits screens in America on April 26. (C) Cover Media
