Bollywood celebs are known to celebrate their birthday parties very lavishly and in swanky places.
The new year ushered in a month filled with birthdays of many top bollywood celebs. While most of the celebs partied the night way with a little bit of name dropping, some others chose to make their birthday parties the most talked about events in the tabloids. But it seems like Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone, decided to cut down on the lavish extravaganzas and celebrate their birthdays in a simpler way.
Bollywood hottie Bipasha Basu celebrated her birthday at her favourite place, the gym.
The sexy and beautiful actress, who is also a fitness freak, turned 33 on this January. Bipasha was so enthusiastic about celebrating her birthday in the gym, that she wrote on her micro-blogging page “Birthday celebrations continue in my favourite place my gym! With Paul, best trainer ever!”
While she had a great time at her gym, someone missed her surprise birthday party. We are talking about the recently turned Papa and one of Bip’s good friends, Abhishek Bachchan. The actor was not able to make it for her surprise birthday party that was organised by her friends. Bipasha thanked Junior Bachchan for his wishes and wrote on his micro-blogging page saying, “@juniorbachchan I am having the best Birthday ever! Thanks AB! Missed you last night for my mad surprise party.
On the other hand , Deepika Padukone returned home after a two-month long shoot schedule abroad super-excited at the thought of spending her birthday with family in her new house in South Mumbai. The house was an early birthday present that she gifted herself and she was craving for a simple home-cooked South Indian meal’, ghar ka khana!
Little did she know what her eye candy boyfriend had in store for her!
Beau Siddhartha Mallya brought in her birthday in style by throwing a surprise birthday party for her. Interestingly, Mallya Jr. seemed to enjoy the party planning process as much as the final result. He posted on his micro-blogging page “A very happy birthday D Pizzle. Hope u have an amazing year ahead! "I've decided that organizing someone else's birthday party is more fun than organizing your own!!. Does this mean I'm getting old???? Happy to say the birthday party went well. Everyone enjoyed!! Think party planning could be my forte a bit like Van Wilder.
