(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Chace Crawford loved seeing his male co-stars "dying" in the Atlanta heat while shooting his new movie.

The actor appears in What to Expect When You're Expecting, which follows five couples on the journey to parenthood. Chris Rock, Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid and Ben Falcone also appear in the release.

Many of the male stars had to walk around wearing baby carriers, which Chace enjoyed.

"Me and Anna [Kendrick, co-star] didn't have any baby involvement but we got to watch Chris Rock and the other guys [in the] frontal back pack strap baby thing in the 95 degree Atlanta heat... they were dying, it was really funny," he laughed to UK TV show This Morning.

Chace is still learning about babies, despite recently becoming an uncle for the first time. He expected the new arrival to be more exciting when they first met.

"Not really anything," he replied, when asked what he knows about babies. "I'm like, What's he going to do, what will he do now?' [They go,] Well he sleeps and breastfeeds'"

Chace remains most famous for his portrayal of Nate Archibald in the US TV show Gossip Girl, which will begin shooting it's final season later this year. The actor has hinted that fans will finally discover who the all-seeing and all-knowing title character is.

"I think that's where they want to go with it. It could be a boy, it could be a dog, it could be someone raised back from the dead" he said. (C) Cover Media
