Charlie Sheen is a 100 per cent on board to judge the next season of American Idol.
The actor was named a dream recruit by the show's producer Nigel Lythgoe for the upcoming season of the talent search.
While the TV executive has not been confirmed to return to the show himself, he also named Jerry Lewis as a potential candidate.
Lythgoe didn't make it clear whether he was joking or not given Sheen's troubled past, but he did repeat the Anger Management star's name several times to the website.
Now the actor has responded and said he would be interested in a seat on the panel if his conditions are met.
Meanwhile, American Idol season eight runner-up Adam Lambert has denied he has been approached to join the show.
There are reports that Jennifer Lopez will not return as a judge for a third season, so show bosses are searching for a suitable replacement.
"If something like that were to happen, I would be very excited," he told UK radio station Capital FM. "It's a rumour as of right now, but man, that would be fun. All I can say is, if it were to happen, I would appreciate it."
Other stars linked to a coveted seat on the panel include Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus.
