(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlize Theron won't make other people's issues "her problems".

The 36-year-old actress is aware that some of her peers are beginning to worry about the ageing process. It's not something which concerns her and she refuses to let comments about her age get her down.

"I can't make other people's problems my problems. My mom always said, Not my problem, your problem.' Age just isn't among my concerns," she told Empire magazine. "Maybe it's because I'm still young, but it's quite spectacular how it's in everyone else's consciousness."

Charlize thinks her down-to-earth approach helps her when she's making movies. It means she gives herself totally to her characters and doesn't spend time worrying about how she looks on screen.

"If I started getting my own issues and insecurities involved, that's probably the day I should stop. For the sake of everyone. I don't want all that bulls**t to get in the way of what I love doing, which is creating the most truthful world for a character," she said. (C) Cover Media
