Cheryl Cole matches make-up to hair

10th February 2011

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Cheryl Cole has offered tips on combining certain hair colours with different make-up shades.

The 27-year-old singer found fame in British pop group Girls Aloud and has gone on to enjoy a successful career as a solo artist, collaborating with A-list musicians such as will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas.

Cheryl is famed for her long luscious locks which are currently brunette, and has urged ladies to think carefully about the cosmetics shades they team with different hair colours.

I think you have to work with your hair colour. When I was blonder, Id go for caramels; when my hair was chocolate, I could get away with bolder, more vibrant shades, she explained.

Cheryl has previously spoken about using style overhauls to uplift her mood, and the singer believes there is an element of truth in the famous phrase blondes have more fun. She admits to regularly experimenting with dye to ensure her mood is evoked by her style.

People always say blondes have more fun. I guess if you change shade then you do act differently, she told Company magazine. When you colour your hair yourself you can reflect your mood, so I dont think its really changed me, its more that I changed the colour to match how Im feeling. (C) Cover Media
