Chris Colfer traumatised by jumpsuit

Chris Colfer found it "traumatic" to wear a leather jumpsuit in an upcoming episode of Glee.

The actor plays high school student Kurt Hummel in the popular American television show and has been discussing the cast's tribute to Michael Jackson.

The show frequently dedicates whole episodes to musical legends and Chris performs several of Michael's greatest songs for a new episode.

Although Chris was thrilled to sing the tracks, he was less impressed with the outfits he had to wear for their rendition of Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'.

"I was in a leather one-suit like, a leather jumpsuit," Chris told Access Hollywood at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday. "The dance was fine, but just the fact that I was in a leather onesie was a little traumatic!"

Chris compared the tight and revealing outfit to villainous characters from the Batman and James Bond movie franchises.

However, the star insisted he didn't feel at all sexy in the jumpsuit.

"Very Catwoman-ish, [but] I would say more James Bond villain than Catwoman," he explained. "I wish it was Catwoman flattering! But no, it was James Bond villain."

Chris went on to reveal that one of his castmates was over the moon when he realised Glee would be doing a Michael Jackson-themed episode.

Kevin McHale, who plays Artie Abrams in the show, has been a huge fan of the late pop star for years.

"Kevin McHale, without question," Chris replied when asked which of his co-stars enjoyed performing the tracks the most. "He's been idolising him since he was a wee, wee lad."
