(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Chris Evans knows he'll be in "serious" trouble" if Captain America: The First Avenger isn't a success.
The actor plays the title role in the Hollywood blockbuster, which also stars Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffudd. The comic book adaptation is eagerly anticipated by fans and critics alike, something which Chris is both excited and terrified about. Although he doesn't want it to fail, if the picture is a success it'll change his life completely.
"Well, it's a double edge sword really if the movie is terrible, I'm in some serious trouble. I wasn't just quite sure it it's what I wanted. I just, I'm not a huge fan of losing my anonymity. I just like going to the grocery store and I like going to a Celtics game," he explained.
Chris has previously admitted he struggles with some aspects of fame. He enjoys acting but finds it difficult that people want to know so much about his life, something he isn't sure he'll ever get used to.
"I love making movies. I love the stage, but I love films, and the problem with films is it comes with celebrity. If I could make films without having my personal life changed in any way, I would be the happiest man on the planet but it just doesn't work that way," he explained in an interview with SciFi Now.
