(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Chris Evans' mother would "knock [his] head in" if he wasn't gentleman-like.
The American actor, who is starring in the title role in upcoming comic book movie Captain America: The First Avenger, is very charming when it comes to the opposite sex.
The Hollywood hunk's mom taught him the correct etiquette for being around women, and would scold him for not being the perfect gentleman.
"Oh yeah, I'm a great date," he said with confidence in an interview with MTV. "Chivalry was a big thing in my household. If you didn't hold the door for a woman, my mother's going to knock your head in."
Chris, 30, was also asked what song he likes to sing in the shower, but he was too embarrassed to give a direct answer.
However, he did reveal that he is a fan of musical theatre.
"I grew up doing theatre, so unfortunately it's probably going to be in the world of show tunes," he laughed. When begged to reveal just one of his favourite tune, the star refused. "It's bad. I can't even go any more than that," he laughed, before grudgingly admitting he does enjoy musical Rent. (C) Cover Media
