(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Chris Evans has revealed that he got his friend to be his butt double in his new film.

The 30-year-old actor stars in upcoming romantic comedy What's Your Number? With Anna Faris but says that he did not show any skin as was called for in the script.

In the film, Anna Faris' character looks back at the last 20 men she dated and wonders if one of them was actually her soul mate.

She enlists the help of her neighbour Colin, played by Chris, who says he was thrilled to get his old pal into the movie.

"My butt double is my roommate in Boston!" Chris explained to Us Weekly. "He's a kid I grew up with."

"Anna said she got a butt double for the bay scene. My buddy Zach was like, Who's going to be your butt double?' and I said, I don't know. Do you want the gig?'"

Chris said that it did not take much for Zach to impress the movie's director Mark Mylod.

"I brought him down, he met the director, did a little spin around and boom he's in the movie!" Chris laughed.

The film opens up in U.S. theatres on September 30. (C) Cover Media
