Chris Hemsworth is one of Hollywood's hunkiest leading men and admits his looks have got him a long way.

The Avengers star's physique has been showcased in films like Thor and Snow White and the Huntsman.

But the 28-year-old, who recently became a first time parent to daughter India Rose with wife Elsa Pataky, says he sometimes has an issue with his heartthrob position.

"It's helped me get a job, sure," he says in the latest issue of GQ. "But you hope it's not the only thing that's helped."

Chris has admitted that he went to funny lengths to play a "lost soul and a drunk" in Huntsman including spinning around in circles before filming boozy scenes.

But he laughed that he's also come across other actors who have their own weird ways of getting into character.

"I worked with a guy once who would chant, I'm beautiful and I have a secret, I'm beautiful and I have a secret,'" he revealed.
