The singer-and-actress met music executive Jordan Bratman in 2002 and the couple went on to tie the knot in 2005. UsMagazine.com are claiming that a source close to Christina and Jordan has revealed they have been separated for a few months.

It has been alleged the pair have grown apart in recent months and their feelings for each other have changed.

They are now living apart, and they will see how that goes. They were very much in love, the source added. But over the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife.

Christina, 29, and Jordan, 33, reportedly attempted to rekindle their relationship with a romantic trip to Italy over the summer, but the vacation didnt help.

The couple have a two-year-old son, Max, together and they have vowed to do whatever is best for their child and remain on good terms.
