Aamir Khan going full monty for 'PK' poster landed him in a legal trouble. Petitioner Hemant Patil wanted the filmmaker to remove the inappropriate scenes from the film before it hits the theatre and stop using the poster that showed Khan full monty.
Now Mumbai Civil Court will pronounce its final order on day of the film's release, whether it should be banned on the basis of obscenity or not.
On which Censor Board, Aamir and director Vidhi Vinod Chopra, argued that the civil court has no authority to hear the suit, it is the Appellate Tribunal which hears all the suits regarding the CBFC.
Counsel for the plaintiff, however, contended the civil court may not have the jurisdiction to hear the matter against Censor Board but it can certainly entertain a suit against the director and producer of the film.
Supreme Court judge dismissed the PIL saying, "If you don't like, then don't watch the film."
