When Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal' released in India, it broke all the records in just few days. While it became the highest grosser of the year, it also became the first Indian movie to earn Rs. 2000 crores (307 million USD) in the world market after it earned Rs. 2.5 crore on its 53rd day at the China box office according to Forbes.
The movie has left behind Hollywood movies like, 'xXx: Return Of Xander Cage', 'Transformers: Dark Of The Moon', 'Titanic 3D' and 'The Jungle Book' and 'Captain America: Civil War.' It also became the only non-Hollywood film to be listed on the top 16 highest-grossing films at the China box office.
'Dangal' is now behind Hollywood films 'Jurassic World' and 'Avatar' which are at number 14 and 15 respectively.
On the work front Aamir is prepping up for 'Thugs of Hindostan' opposite Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif.
