(Cover) - EN Star Style - Dannii Minogue covers any clothes she is going to wear to an important event with muslin as shes terrified her son will mess them up.

The Australian star is a judge on UK programme The X Factor, which she returned to shortly after giving birth to Ethan, her child with her partner Kris Smith. Fashion is a big part of the show as Dannii and the other female judge Cheryl Coles outfits are poured over by fans, and Dannii also has her own clothing line called Project D. It means she always wants to look her best, which can be hard with a newborn.

I may look very pulled together when I go out on stage, but Im literally giving myself minutes, she laughed. I do make-up in the car. I cover everything I wear with muslin clothes because the worst thing that can happen would be some unexpected spill.

Becoming a parent has changed Danniis style in a lot of ways. She now makes sure she can achieve looks quickly, and has even sorted out her make-up bag to ensure she only had products which are easy to apply.

The star used to have more time to experiment with different looks, whereas now she just reaches for whatever is to hand.

Two years ago I had all the time in the world to play around with looks, she told Grazia magazine. I had too much time really. Having a baby, running a business and doing X Factor, I needed to simplify my life and my style. I cut my hair because I dont have time for all those extensions. (C) Cover Media
