Sushant Singh Rajput's journey has been nothing short of a movie script, from being a college dropout, a television heartthrob to today being one of the most popular Gen-X stars on the big screen. The actor features on the cover of this month's issue of Cosmopolitan Man, as he opens up about his childhood, his struggles as an outsider and achieving the great Indian dream.
In an excerpt from his interview in the November issue of Cosmo Man he says, "I gave theatre a try, slowly building up my self-confidence with each new performance and before I knew it, I fell in love with acting and decided to call it quits on being an engineer. Being an actor was a gamble...but it paid off."
Adding to that, "Only raw talent can help you survive in an industry like this and in my view, Bollywood does give an equal opportunity to outsiders and allows them to make their mark."
The 31-year-old actor is currently shooting for Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kedarnath' which will release on 2018 Christmas. Earlier, Sushant has worked with Abhishek for 'Kai Po Che' which was a critically acclaimed film. After doing M.S Dhoni's biopic and receiving massive applauds for his performance, the chocolate boy has earned him many offers since then. The actor was previously seen in 'Raabta' opposite Kriti Sanon which was a disastrous flop.
