(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dannii Minogue has said that marriage could be on the cards for her and long-term partner Kris Smith.

The Australian star, who has been dating the British model for almost two years, explained that while she is reluctant to walk down the aisle again, she wouldn't rule it out altogether.

Dannii was previously wed to actor Julian McMahon, but their marriage collapsed after only a year. She has also been engaged to Formula One driver Jacques Villeneuve, whom she dated from 1999 to 2001.

The TV star admitted openly that the heartache she has experienced in the past has put her off marriage slightly.

"I don't know, it could happen. We sort of talk about it [marriage]," she told celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. "Having been through one marriage already myself and that caused a lot of pain, you know a lot of heartache. I guess you get a little bit scared off by it, but it does come up."

Last year, Dannii and Kris welcomed their first child into the world, son Ethan.

The 39-year-old described how much she loves being a mum and how if feels like fate to have her little boy.

"There's this incredible sense when you have a baby that you think, Oh that's what I was meant to do.' Its like every cell in your body is going, I've got this baby, and I'm going to look at after this baby' and its rally an incredible feeling," she said. "Whenever I see other mothers with little newborns, I just go and I swoop on them and I scoop their little baby out of their arms, and I really sort of (C) Cover Media
