(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Danny DeVito cheated on wife Rhea Perlman with a movie extra, it has been claimed.

The 67-year-old actor and his wife of 30 years announced on Monday they were getting a divorce.

Reports surfaced Danny's "flirty" behaviour was to blame.

A crew member from the star's crime drama Hoffa now claims the star cheated on his wife with a young blonde extra on the 1992 film.

"Danny would have his limo driver drive them all over the city and they'd canoodle in the back before going back to his room together," the source told RadarOnline.

The insider, who declined to be named, said the actor had developed a reputation for being a ladies' man.

Danny and Rhea wed in 1982 and have three grown up children together. Rhea is best known for starring in hit US TV show Cheers, and she also appeared alongside Danny in the 1996 family movie Matilda.

A spokesman for the actor declined to address the cheating claims, saying only: "No name, no comment." (C) Cover Media
