(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Arquette believes he is going through a nervous breakdown.

The 39-year-old actor and his actress wife Courteney Cox announced they were going on a trial separation in October this year and the star has made a host of bizarre appearances since.

Yesterday he recorded his third radio interview with the Howard Stern Show since his split from Courteney, and admitted he feels hes at breaking point.

During the show Howard asked David; "Are you having a nervous breakdown?" to which David replied; "I believe so."

The movie star confessed that everybody is worried and concerned about me, and revealed that he's visiting a psychiatrist on a weekly basis.

David made a host of unusual claims and revelations during the interview, including that he wants to start a family with ex-girlfriend Drew Barrymore. David is father to six-year-old Coco from his relationship with Courteney, and he thinks having a baby with Drew would be the perfect addition to his family.

"I know she is with Justin Long and everything, but would cool would an Arquette-Barrymore child be?" he mused. "From a pure breeding standpoint."

David also cleared up rumours he had been spending time with Kelly Osbourne by explaining he is not messing around with her. The actor also recalled a blunder he made when he mistakenly called Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise by the wrong name at a party hosted by Adam Sandler.

"I was a little wasted," he recounted. "Someone says 'Hi David!', and I said, 'Hi Sean! Then I realised it was Tom Cruise. And his beautiful wife [Katie Holmes] was there.

"Tom was cool about it...I was so embarrassed. I was like 'I gotta get the f**k out of here.'"

David admitted hes finding life difficult without Courteney around, saying he needs a woman who will take care of him. The actor believes relationships should be about looking after one another, and he says he knows how to treat a partner.

"This is the hardest thing anyone has to go through You wake up and the reality hits you," he lamented.

"[Courteney] said she doesn't want to be my mother. I kind of need a mother right now. I need a girl to come bring me some soup and make sure I'm all right. I like that, and I take care of my ladies, too." (C) Cover Media
