(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jake Gyllenhaal plans to take things slowly with new love Taylor Swift.

Hollywood actor Jake has reportedly been dating the musician for the past few weeks, with the pair being pictured together on various occasions. The 29-year-old, who has previously dated Kirsten Dunst and Reese Witherspoon, spoke to waiting reporters following his Golden Globe nomination for his role in film Love and Other Drugs.

The star revealed he wasnt sure who will accompany him to the awards as he hopes to take things slow with his latest romantic interest.

"Dude, I didn't think I was getting nominated. It's going to be a long, slow burn for me. I'm not rushing into anything, he told USA Today.

Jake went on to reveal his delight at achieving the nominations, explaining he is happy he has been recognised for his work on the big screen.

"It was pretty unexpected. I got a call and then I checked my phone and I had 25 emails, and it was either disconcerting or exciting. In this case it was exciting. I'm going to really soak this in. I'll be with my family and I'm excited for the holidays. I'm not going to deny any awesome feelings," he added. (C) Cover Media
