(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Arquette has left rehab, and feels like a changed person.

The Hollywood star checked into a clinic over New Year weekend, with his representative saying he needed help for alcohol and other issues.

In October, it was announced David and his wife Courtney Cox Arquette were in the middle of a trial separation. Following the revelation David exhibited some bizarre behaviour, discussing his sex life on a radio show and admitting he feared he was having a nervous breakdown.

He was also seen out partying night after night, and eventually decided to get help. The star checked out of the clinic yesterday, and now feels ready to start a new life.

He has completed treatment and has left the facility, his representative confirmed.

A source added to UsMagazine.com: He is very committed to his sobriety and a changed person because of his experience. He realises now how out of control things got and doesn't want that to happen again."

Davids friends and family are keen to help him through his rough time, and regularly visited him while he was having treatment. The 39-year-old has reportedly said he will be going to daily meetings to ensure he doesnt slip into his old ways.

The star has also decided to end his partnership with Jeff Beacher, the creator of Beacher's Madhouse. The pair had been planning to open a nightclub and theatre venue at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, which would have featured circus performers such as burlesque dancers, live animals, acrobats and contortionists. While David still believes the event would be a huge success, he feels now is not the right time for him to be involved in such a venture.

David and Jeff have dissolved their partnership," a spokesperson for David told RadaOnline.com "David remains a big fan of the Beacher's Madhouse Show and the Roosevelt Hotel, [but] he is concentrating on his health and well being right now." (C) Cover Media
